Description:
The Eastern Coal Region Roundtable serves mine scarred Appalachian watersheds
through training, capacity building and providing a collective voice
for underserved communities seeking to restore the well being of their
citizens and environment. The organization is a 501c3 non-profit comprised
of the board of directors, an AmeriCORPS OSM/VISTA and over 1000 members
throughout Coal Country. ECRR actively promotes the development of self-sustaining
watershed groups through information-sharing of restoration technologies
and capacity building resources for the well being of Appalachia’s
citizens and environment. This position is funded through a 2 year EPA
grant.

Qualifications:
ECRR is poised to become the premier collective voice for Coal Country
watershed issues and is seeking a determined, persistent, self motivated
individual who will unite day to day administrative work with a broader
vision of hope for the region. We seek a flexible, organized and self-directed
people person with experience in administration, grant writing, database
and budget management, fundraising, board development and event co-ordination.
The workload will be multifaceted and challenging. Preference will be
given those who have prior experience with Appalachian Coal Country watershed
issues and possess a working knowledge of the region. Occasional travel
will be necessary.
